When importing goods from outside the EU into Finland, those must be cleared through Customs.
It means that importer must do import declaration and pay VAT & import duties.
Customs value is based on price of the goods and delivery costs to EU territory.
Also when importing goods temporarily to Finland, customs clearance need to be done.
Necessary information for import declaration:
- registration number of your transport vehicle
- delivery costs to EU
- border crossing point
- copy of invoice, including information of consignee and consignor (buyer and seller)
- type of goods
- gross- and netweight
- total number of packages
- CMR/freight document is optional
